Silvergate did academic evaluation for me for my I-140 and they did an excellent job on my case which i needed rushed and they gave me efficient next day processing. I had contacted other evaluation services first who would take longer and were more expensive. I definitely recommend them.

Hi friends
I travelled out of USA and am trying to get back into USA with AP. I am using H1B(not stamped).
THey temporarily transferred to me indian office for this duration.
I also have EAD with me(not yet started to use).Now My co. is not letting me to go back to USA
without a project.If incase i want to change my employer, how can I do it..
Will it hurt to go back without employers permission to USA and then to use EAD to get a job?
After this I plan to submit my resignation.For EAD, 180 days already crossed.
If I want to do the above,how many days I have to get a job with EAD with a new employer after I go to USA?
What are my options?

Who is the best immigration attorney out there to deal with a cross-chargeability case? (Need to claim cross-chargeability based on Spouse's citizenship on an already filed I-485 case).
Any first hand experiences with attorneys like Rajeev Khanna, Murthy, Ron Gotcher etc?? Or is there anyone better (in terms of paying proper attention while filing & being reachable in case of any RFEs etc.,) out there?

Hi:
I am a I-485 EB waiter and applied before August 18th. So I have to pay a fee fo 305 dollars. However when I went to check the I-131 instructions for e-filing, i could not find any information if we are eligible to e-file?
has anybody e-filed Advance parole.

Hi,
I've been working full-time on EAD for the last 2+ years. I have a pending 485 application, on which my spouse is the primary applicant. I have never applied for H1B in the past, because I transferred directly from F1 (student visa) to this EAD.
My spouse also has an H1B, which is in it's 7th year (completed 6 yrs of H1B).
My spouse has been put on furlough (unpaid leave) for 3 months.
What are our options ?
1. Can my employer file H1B for me, and an H4 for my spouse ? How will this affect our green card application (on which my spouse is primary applicant) ?
2. How much time does my spouse have to look for another job (with similar job description), without being out of status ? Is there some grace period associated with H1?

Hi All,
My employer has filed for ETA 9089 and it is approved. I am paying for the green card processing. Before applying for I-140 he asked me to sign a memorandum which states that I am bearing the complete expenses of the process (filing fees of I-140 , I-485 and $500 extra) . It also states that I need to be with the company for 6 months from the time green card is approved. In case I leave the company prior to 6 months for whatsoever reason, I need to pay $15000 as damaging charges to company.
He says that signing this memorandum is mandatory otherwise he will not file I-140.
My questions is , Is it legal to bind an employee to these conditions and ask processing fee to file Green card ? Also are these documents valid from legal perspective ?
Please let me know your thoughts on this. Appreciate it.

Hi All,
My employer filed for my H-1B in premium processing, but it got denied because lawyer submitted wrong EIN number.
My questions are:
Will they re-consider my case if lawyer submits the correct EIN number?
How much time will it take to process, if the willing to re-consider the case?

Currently my 485 is pending over 1.5 years with I-140 approval (2007). I was laid-off. I have valid EAD card. Am I eligible to transfer to a TARP company for a similar position but in different state? Is there any specific policy or limitation for this work status? The company's HR couldn't make a decision. My current AP expires on July 30, 2008. I am planning to apply for renewal in Jan or Feb 2008, which is 6 months prior to expiration. I understand that nowadays it takes more than 3 months for approval.
In case of emergency, Can I travel to India with my current AP while AP renewal petition is pending?.

Hi, as i am only a rookie at multimedia like flash - photoshop etc i am willing to do small work for people who need it - justas long as the job isnt too hard for me - i am getting better and better each day at flash and photoshop.
